Learning pathways are Next Generation Science Standards-aligned units that integrate environmental education into required science content, allowing today’s youth to think deeply about local environmental issues.
How does my environment affect me?
Students investigate how environments impact them and how they can impact those environments.
What should I do with this trash?
Students investigate waste management problems and solutions. They consider when and how to recycle, and explore alternatives to waste.
How does a bulb light?
Students investigate current power systems and consider anticipated future changes.
Where does my food waste go?
Students investigate an everyday phenomenon: food waste in the school cafeteria.
